In June 2011, Devlin Interiors began working on the prestigious Northern Design Centre project in Gateshead. With the end use of the building being largely focused on creativity, the whole design of the building was heavily design led. Devlin Interiors were chosen for the £300,000+ contract to install suspended ceilings, plasterboard bulkheads, wall linings and fire protection, as well as install the external thermal soffit to the basement carpark. This was then supplemented on site with further orders for glazed partitioning, acoustic barriers and air tightness works.
